National Role - Adelaide Head Office Polyaire is Australia's largest air-conditioning manufacturer and a market leader in design and distribution of air-conditioning products, with 23 Retail and distribution centres and 9 Manufacturing Sites. An exciting opportunity exists for a Demand and Supply Planner to join the Supply Chain team based in Adelaide for a Company that's in strong growth. As a member of this business-critical team your tasks will include: Review historical sales trends, gather market intelligence and accurately forecast SKU/Location level finished goods demand across a large product range warehoused in over 30 retail & distribution centres around Australia. Ensuring the appropriate flow of information from suppliers, logistics, inventory, Branch Supervisors, Operation Managers, Commercial Development and others is timely and accurate. Maintain data integrity within the APS relative to sales volume, history and the management of new and obsolete products. Ensure Planning parameters are updated in the ERP / APS systems as required. Manage product lifecycle activities e.g. Phase in / Phase out, New Product Launch. Prepare & facilitate in the monthly forecast review meetings for your portfolio. Ensure that forecasts reflect true demand and are appropriate drivers for manufacturing and purchasing activity. Actively driving Polyaire's Collaboration program with a sizeable portfolio of products with key stakeholders Inside & Outside Group. Provide analytical support to the greater Supply Chain team as required. Participation in team and department projects. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the successful candidate will be highly motivated, have an analytical focus, possess well-developed problem solving skills and provide high attention to detail. MS Office skills are essential for this role as is the ability to quickly learn new business systems and processes. Experience with an APS will be highly regarded. 2+ years of demand/supply planning experience with formal qualifications in a Business related discipline is essential. Previous supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment in the HVAC industry would be a distinct advantage.
