Are you an experience Procurement Manager with previous experience in the building and construction industry ready to make a move? My client is a highly regarded residential builder with an expansive display home network and a service region spanning most of Australia's eastern seaboard In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining all supplier relationships & agreements, across the entire product range for the company. Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) Develop and implement agreement management policies and procedures Issue supplier agreements, ensuring content is accurate Ensure pricing and supplier-related information is communicated to appropriate departments Review contracts for conformance to company policy Procure relationships with subcontractors and suppliers in efforts to grow the business reputation and provide a good representation of the business Oversee Procurement, supplier performance, agreements, pricing, product compliance, and quality Actively tender for supply of products and/or services to ensure the best possible purchase rates Perform risk management Implement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective To be successful in your application we are looking for someone with : Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role Industry exposure (building and construction) High level of confidentiality Experience with Databuild (essential) In addition you will need to demonstrate excellence in the following areas; Demonstrated negotiation skills (a must) Ability to work autonomously with organisational skills Ability to lead and develop others Strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate and analyze data Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines Sound skills in other Microsoft Office suite of programs including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Attention to detail Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management Ability to select products to meet business requirements Ability to deliver financial outcomes Critical thinking with sound judgment and decision making Analytical and efficient problem-solving abilities This is a full-time role located in the Varsity/Robina area and your own reliable transport is essential.
