Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager you will be responsible for maintaining supplier relationships and for the purchasing of raw materials, packaging and consumables to support Acratex factory operations and externally sourced finished goods. This is a chance to interact with both internal stakeholders across the business as well as external suppliers. This role is critical to ensuring production can meet agreed deadlines. Professional and thorough in your approach, you will develop effective relationships with vendors to ensure accurate, in-full and on-time replenishment is maintained and negotiate further opportunities for Supply Chain improvements. You will liaise with multiple internal departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of any assigned projects and pro-actively monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of the data for all stocked items. What you will bring and develop: Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to make and back your decisions are vital to running a smooth procurement process. Paramount to the success of this role is someone who demonstrates effective negotiation skills along with strong organizational skills to effectively manage deadlines and keep within expected lead times. Ideally, you will have experience with high-volume purchasing and/or Stock Control. Systems savvy, you will have proven experience in MS Office Suite particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with SAP, or a similar MRP systems is desirable.
