Permanent procurement manager job available based in North Sydney with an immediate start.

Your new company
This well-established market leader in manufacturing is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their growing team. This is an immediately available permanent position.

Your new role
In your new position you will be facilitating and developing procurement strategies that ensure that the company meets the ideal stock levels and to develop and maintain supplier relationships that promote the company as a preferred customer. You will be negotiating directly with suppliers to ensure quality, best price and ensure that the correct volumes arrive when needed. You will be preparing and presenting budgets monthly. You will also be maintaining and developing strong and effective relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need extensive procurement experience with a very high standard of written and verbal communication skills. You will need to have a proven ability to negotiate with suppliers. You will need to have excellent stakeholder engagement skills also. There is an analytical element to this position and you will need to have advanced excel skills.
