Permanent Accounts Payable / Purchasing Officer job based in Hornsby.

Supplier company based in Hornsby, looking for an Accounts Payable / Purchasing Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, your role will be standalone and your duties will include:

  • Processing of AP invoices
  • Obtaining quotes for local purchasing
  • Liaise with customs agent regarding arrival and release of goods
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Prepare supplier payments
  • Raising Purchase Orders

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Full function AP experience
  • Procurement / Purchasing experience is an ABSOLUTE MUST
  • MYOB experience is desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team player
