Boggabri Coal Mine, is located in North-West NSW and is an open-cut coal operation producing in excess of 7 million tonnes per annum and has a mine life extending through until 2033. About the Role: The logistics function at Boggabri Coal is a business-critical link to their customers. Increasing volumes, complex quality constraints and the potential for additional products have highlighted the imperative for additional site coal logistics management resources. As the Senior Coal Quality & Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal planning and logistics of the CHPP, whilst working with key personnel to achieve the best possible products within customer specification. Reporting to the CHPP Manager you will be responsible for: Coordinate and plan on-site coal production, railing and shipping requirements for the short to medium term (currently a 13-week outlook). Based on a detailed mine plan supplied by the mine planning team. The role excludes day to day operational planning of the mining process and commences from when the coal is delivered to the ROM Co-ordinating with Geology/Grade Control, Technical Services, Mine Production and Coal Processing to ensure timely delivery of coal from Pit/ROM's to Rail, that meets shipping requirements Short and medium-term plans for ROM coal production, bypass production and CHPP production Liaise with Marketing regarding rail and shipping programs and other matters to ensure their requirements are met Liaise with Marketing regarding coal quality issues such as variance from target To be considered for this role, you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: A Diploma or Degree in engineering/process or a related discipline Suitably knowledgeable in coal processing Significant experience within the coal chain logistics field Experience dealing with multiple stakeholder inputs both internal and external Significant experience with stockpile and product management systems The ability to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships across all levels of the business Previous experience working in a CHPP and a similar role is essential Whats on offer for the right candidate: A senior level role with a great company that will value your contribution Very competitive salary with short term incentive & company phone Full relocation support to the local region Training and development to support your professional & personal growth Flexible roster / work from home once established with the business How to apply: Please submit a resume direct through Seek or you can send me an email directly to Lucas Eyers - Principal Mining Consultant Stellar Recruitment
