They manufacture, market and distribute a range of great brands across a number of categories and channels. There are two available positions with this company, one for each of the shifts that they operate within. What's great about this role? The Production Co-ordinator will lead a high performing manufacturing team on the designated shift to deliver a safe, reliable, flexible and cost-efficient manufacturing operation. What you will be doing As the Production Co-ordinator , you will : · Support the Production Manager to lead a cultural change on the shop floor by focussing on the basics of manufacturing · Leading your team by example and setting and realising standards of excellence · Focus on optimum shift management and to coordinate and supervise the production activities in accordance with established procedures and budgets · Provide the drive for the development of a team of skilled and passionate team members · Support significant change initiatives to improve people and process effectiveness, particularly Lean implementation What you can offer To be successful in this role you must have a passion for process and systems combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills within a food manufacturing operation Ideally you will also have: · Knowledge of production techniques , continuous improvement and quality control · Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a similar discipline · Led or been a key part of Lean Manufacturing within a business · Prior experience in the culture change process · Leading and managing a team · Hands on with a can do attitude · Working knowledge of HACCP and ISO Quality systems How to move forward To register your interest in this position, please send your resume in Word Format to Chorus Executive.
