They are now seeking a Production Manager to join their manufacturing team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the production group across the 24/7 site, ensuring all production targets are achieved in a safe and timely manner. Within this role, you will also be responsible for driving continuous efficiency improvements, working closely with the engineering and maintenance departments to utilise TPM methodologies and minimise downtime, as well as ensuring lean manufacturing principles are implemented effectively. To be successful in this role, you will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, have a proven track record in a similar production leadership role, within a heavy or industrial manufacturing sector, as well as having a passion for developing members of your team. They are now seeking a Production Planner to join their manufacturing team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient production scheduling of a wide range of company products, ensuring that all customers are satisfied that their orders are delivered on time and in full. This role will also see you liaise with all internal stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to the scheduling and production planning process, therefore increasing customer satisfaction and machine efficiency, whilst decreasing production costs. To be successful in this role, you will be a Production Planner/Scheduler with at least five years of experience in production planning within a complex manufacturing environment. Ideally you will be trade or tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline and you will work well within a team environment. In addition, you will have experience using SAP software, as well as being a proficient user of Excel software.
