About the Role An opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager to join our Fibre business based in Athol Park, SA. You will be accountable for establishing and driving the conditions for the team members to achieve all safety, quality and production targets in accordance with manufacturing standards on a sustainable and improving basis in accordance with agreed company targets. Reporting to the Athol Park Site Manager, we will look to you to: Lead safety by example through consistent actions and zero tolerance for unsafe conditions and behaviours. Execute the production plan to meet customer requirements and to optimize production efficiencies. Develop & implement strategies to maximise production efficiencies. Develop and implement appropriate shift and manning structures to maintain efficient production throughputs/quality/safety to meet customer and business requirements. Encourage and lead employee engagement through open two way communications and developing and fostering structured improvement activities. Ensure all employees understand and adhere to our quality expectations through proper training, coaching and by conducting formal audits to guarantee compliance. Deliver on DIFOT / PIFOT / Waste / Quality and Labour budgets. About You There’s no doubt about it; you are a Continuous Improvement and manufacturing excellence guru. You have a passion for improving processes and reducing waste. You know what great looks like (because you have seen it before) and you have; Prior experience within FMCG / Batch Manufacturing. Knowledge of 5S principles and demonstrated experience in process improvement. Comprehensive understanding of IR laws and employee relations. Experience coaching, leading, managing and mentoring effective teams, allocating resources effectively and ensuring a motivated and customer focussed team. Understanding OHS&E standards and legal requirements and responsibilities. Exposure to the commercial and operational business environment with a well-developed all round business acumen. About the Role An opportunity has arisen for a Production Supervisor to join our Cartons business based in Botany, NSW. You will be responsible for managing the work performance of a shift crew at the Botany plant, ensuring that activities are in line with safety and best practice manufacturing principles to outperform production output and cost budgets. Reporting to the Production Manager, we will look to you to: Ensure all team members are working in a safe manner in accordance with Orora policy, procedures, JSEAs. Ensure the workflow of production activities is efficient and effective. Explore opportunities for improvement within the Botany operations. Ensure that all production activities are carried out consistent with the quality system and quality objectives of the business. Ensure team and plant performance results, along with other matters of interest, are being communicated to all employees via monthly team briefs and frequent informal communications. This is a great opportunity to join an ASX listed business that's growing and learn our business from the ground up, working with an experienced and supportive team. You’ll be responsible for inventory related activities including stock accuracy, product integrity, warehouse optimisation & KPI reporting across the Revesby site This role also requires despatch/load planning & pallet control assistance to cover annual leave and troubleshooting/technical issues You’ll also be responsible for conducting quarterly Full Goods stocktakes and reconciliation, providing written reports to our Distribution Manager, Site Manager and Commercial Manager What will you need to be successful in this role?
