Chandler Macleod WA are currently seeking two Material Logistics Officers for a Residential position in Port Hedland to work with one of Australia's largest mining companies. The roles will see the successful candidates working within a diverse and productive team and presents fantastic ongoing opportunities. Reporting to the Supervisor, your duties will include: * Ensuring planned tasks have the required parts by follow, tracking and escalating delays with materials delivery; * Managing order confirmation, receipt and receivable of goods inwards; * Managing items dispatch, and return not use parts for storage or credit; * Assisting in developing, analyzing and reporting forecast demand for parts, components and vendor services; * Identifying deviations of deliveries against orders and creates remedial actions and reclamations against suppliers; * Maintaining parts consolidation area to be an efficient and effective area for materials logistics to be executed. The successful candidate will have the following: * Current valid WA driver's license, C class manual at a minimum * Great work ethic and technical knowledge * Excellent time management and planning skills * A high level of verbal, written and computer literacy skills * The ability to pass an extensive medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen Desirable experience but not essential: * Working experience with computer based ordering and procurement systems, such as SAP; * Demonstrated logistics and planning experience in a related industry; * Experience with operation and maintenance management ; * Strong practical experience in developing parts procurement planning and scheduling; * Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with stringent safety policies. Production Support Assistant (Seymour - Puckapunyal) Regional VIC Chandler Macleod is currently seeking a Production Support Assistant to deliver doctrine production services to the Australian ARMY at Puckapunyal. The successful applicant will be part of a Chandler Macleod team of Editors and Production Support Assistants in Puckapunyal, Holsworthy and Bandiana. The Production Support Assistant (PSA) is responsible for the detailed layout and styling of large publications and creating PDF and HTML outputs for print and internet publication. The PSA is responsible to the Production Manager for technical support and advice related to desktop publishing. The candidate must demonstrate competent word processing skills and be able to quickly become familiar and competent in the use of Doctrine style sheets.
