Our client is an Australian owned family business, with over 50 employees, based in Beenleigh. A Manufacturer of LED signage and traffic products that Specialse in design, engineering and production of over 200 products within the Intelligent Transport Systems & Portable Traffic Products Industry. Supporting the Production Manager, this will be a Full time MATERNTY LEAVE position for a period of (3) months with the potential of extension for the right applicant. As our Purchasing Coordinator, some of your responsibilities will include; Building and Maintaining good supplier relationships Working with mechanical / electrical BOMs and project planning for “just in time” parts availability Checking production plan to generate Reorder Stock Report & purchasing to fulfil Production demands Maintaining inventory levels, including regular stock counts End to End purchasing from local and international suppliers Oversee the warehousing team (receivals, despatch & inventory management) What you will need, to be successful in this positio n; The ability to collaborate with production, engineering & our warehousing departments A technical background working with electrical or electronic technical componentry Experience forecasting supply needs Ability to read technical drawings Professional and assertive communication manner Knowledge of service based and parts based procurement Our client is in the process of migrating to a new inventory and stock management software system, so experience with MYOB EXO, or similar software packages are highly desirable. To be successful in this role, you will have a high degree of autonomy, experience in planning and excellent communication skills.
