Our busy client based in Port of Brisbane is currently looking for keen, fit and enthusiastic container unloaders to join their warehouse team. We are looking for reliable candidates who are able to work ongoing in an on-call casual role. You must be willing to work in a team environment and have the drive, initiative and can do attitude to get in and get the job done. Good communication skills, both written and verbal and high attention to detail is necessary for this role. About the role: Predominately you will be container unloading with weights varying from 5kgs to heavier items requiring a team lift. The items are all boxed and will need palatalising and some can be bulky in size. You must be physically fit to cope with the manual nature of this role. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, We are looking for someone with the following: Experience in a warehouse environment Able to safely wrap and stack pallets in a timely manner Physically fit and healthy (Manual repetitive lifting is required) Capable of lifting up to 20kgs Follow WHS and maintain safe work practices License and reliable transport (Sites are not accessible via public transport) PPE (Steel caps & high VIS shirt) Forklift license an advantage but not necessary This is a very physically demanding position and repetitive lifting and manual handling will be the main part of your role. Due to internal growth, we are currently seeking an experienced 3PL Logistics Manager with extensive experience in 3PL to join our clients team. You will be working for Australia's leading company in container logistics working with some of Australia's largest importers and exporters. In your new role, you will report directly to the State Manager while overseeing sites located in the Port of Melbourne (27,000sq mtrs) and Derrimut (9,000 sq mtrs). The ideal candidate will have extensive exposure to 3PL functions with a passion for logistics and warehousing.
