The Opportunity We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly analytical Group Inventory Optimisation Manager to join our Supply Chain department. Reporting to Group Procurement and Network Logistics Manager, this role will be responsible for establishing group-wide reporting, policies, and processes for the management of inventory across all Bega sites, to optimise inventory levels from cost, planning and customer service perspectives. This includes monitoring, reporting and initiating actions to ensure inventory levels are appropriate for planned production schedules and sales forecasts. The Group Inventory Optimisation Manager will partner with the BU’s to identify opportunities and actions to minimise levels of SLOB and quality impacted stock. Key to your success will be your ability to lead a small team of 3PL inventory operators responsible for tracking and receipting inventory transactions at the 3PL warehouse to ensure that inventory data across the storage network are reconciled with Bega systems. To be successful in this role You will have: Significant experience within a similar Inventory Management or Logistics Analyst role within a planning environment Ability to build strong partnerships at senior levels, working collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver business goals Proven track record of leading, coaching and developing high performing teams Strong analytical, reporting and data manipulation skills with excellent problem solving abilities Excellent interpersonal skills including strategic partnering, influencing, negotiating, verbal and written communication skills Advanced excel skills and working knowledge of inventory management software Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or business discipline (desirable) Applications We want to learn about you.
