Unique opportunity for a Demand Planning and Purchasing professional to join a fast-growing pharmaceutical industry leader. Client Details My client are a highly regarded pharmaceutical company who have a large global footprint. Due to strong growth, my client is looking to bring on an experienced planner / buyer to help the team with the massively increased demand for their products. Description This position is comprised of two major components. Demand Planning; Review of daily forecasts. Review exception and maintenance queries in GAINS. Liaise with other buyers/sales team to update GAINS. Monitor and maintain supplier lead times. Manage inventory targets. Arrange and manage supplier meetings monthly or quarterly. Buyer; Review and perform daily buying requirement using current inventory systems. Complete daily buying within stipulated budget. Understanding of monthly audit requirements. Roll-out of purchasing requirements for new customers (including tenders). Liaise with vendors on ETA of orders. Manage all BDM, customer service and Stock control enquiries. Profile You will have a minimum of 12months in a planning and purchasing based role. Experience using ERP systems. Detail oriented. Ability to work to a budget. Self starter who can work autonomously and self-prioritise. Description Daily management of CSO reporting. Analysis of reporting to ensure targeted service levels are met. Maintaining stock levels to meet PBS product obligations. Vendor out-of-stock management. Roll-out of Purchasing requirements for new demand. Ownership of bringing in new ethical vendors to CH2 Profile You will possess 2+ years in a pharmaceutical procurement role with desired experience in the CSO environment. Experience with ERP systems. A strong analytical ability. Knowledge of the demand planning process. Self starter who can work autonomously and self-prioritise.
