A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Supply Chain & Logistics professional to join an international apparel group. You will ensure the smooth logistics operations are executed in the most efficient manner.
You will be working from Monday to Friday, with expectation to work from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Our client is a major high end fashion retailer. With decades of experience across their market, they own world-famous fashion labels and offer high quality standards as well as optimal customer service.
A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will manage the end-to-end supply chain process for your own portfolio of products to ensure the efficient and effective supply chain performance. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Monitor / maintain inventory levels for assigned inventory groups
Liaise with suppliers on availability of purchase orders and expected delivery dates
Purchase order management based on internal and external customer demand
Enter purchase orders, good receipts and production orders into the SAP system ensuring accuracy of data
Manage and update shipping schedules
Collate and monitor import documentation
Track manufacturing activities to ensure shipments are delivered on time and where possible, expedite shipments by building good relationships with freight forwarders
Investigate and communicate solutions regarding stock discrepancies to key stakeholders, including our global partners
Participate in business meetings and contribute to the ongoing focus of process improvement within the team.
Profile To be successful for this role, you must match the following criteria:
Previous experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator/Logistics Coordinator, liaising with suppliers at an international level (EU, USA & Asia, domestic freight experience also advantageous)
Intermediate level of Microsoft Word and experience with ERP Systems, ideally SAP
A disciplined approach and contentious attention to detail.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with a positive, proactive approach.
Retail support experience for a multi site retailer highly regarded.
