Department for Health and Ageing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Category Management Salary: $77,230-$86,297 - ASO5 - Full Time / Ongoing Appointment The Category Manager is responsible for undertaking sourcing and contract management activities related to a designated category to ensure value for money is realised, contracts deliver the required outcomes, and risks are appropriately managed across SA Health through the procurement process. The key outcomes for this role are: Strategies are executed that enable SA Health operating through effective procurement and contract management initiatives across SA Health; Procurement, contract management and negotiation strategies comply with SA Public Sector policy requirements and identify control measures to effectively manage SA Health’s commercial risk; Expert procurement and contract management services are provided to stakeholders that facilitate value for money outcomes and the procurement of commercially sound deliverables; Procured goods and services meet the business requirements of SA Health; Responsible for the management of the stationery contract and the Interpreters and Translators contract. Department for Health and Ageing, Infrastructure, SA Biomedical Engineering Service Salary: $75,693-$80,115 - TGO3 - Full Time / Ongoing Appointment The primary objective of SA BME is: To assure the safety, effectiveness, availability and compliance of biomedical technology used directly for patient diagnosis, treatment or monitoring for or in connection with the public hospital and healthcare facilities of SA Health; Contribute to the effective delivery of specialised biomedical engineering operational services, advice and assistance, to support the ongoing operation, availability, application and maintenance of current and emerging biomedical devices, systems and technologies, which ensures the provision of effective and safe medical and diagnostic services within an agency; Specialises in Asset Procurement for local site services, and operates at a level of technical complexity across a range of technologies. The position may also be required to provide technical guidance to other staff, to support the delivery of research and technological development activities.
