Very proud working environment building Semi-trailers Strong Management support to implement required changes Excellent Salary package An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and technically minded Inventory Controller to join this market leader in providing quality, new and used semi-trailer transport solutions to the transport industry in Australia. You will be working within a small Procurement team and will implement significant change management practices to a very busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be very 'hands on,' flexible and able to adapt to the environments constantly changing priorities. Based at the Truganina manufacturing site, the Inventory Controllers primary responsibility is to ensure accuracy and accountability of all site inventory and meet agreed fulfilment parameters. The Inventory controllers key tasks include; procurement, inventory replenishment, coordinating parts kitting, undertaking quality gateway inspections, expediting parts to address shortages and coordinating external supply into other branches. Your duties will include, although are not limited to: Action requisitions for production consumables, safety, non-standard items and services ensuring compliance with preferred supplier status Create requisitions for raw materials, components and sub-assemblies required in the production process and forward to procurement to action Where applicable utilize supplier price/qty breaks and FIS terms to reduce costs Review, monitor, follow up and action outstanding back orders and communicate status to key stakeholders Resolve highlighted invoice queries in a timely and accurate manner and correct system parameters as necessary to reduce administrative waste Monitor and replenish inventory within agreed parameters and highlight any shortage risks Review inventory parameters periodically to ensure optimal alignment to build volume and mix Responsible for maintaining storage locations for raw materials, components and sub-assemblies ensuring effective storage and maximum materials handing efficiencies Coordinate picking of kits for assembly and finishing kits are supplied to schedule and 100% picking accuracy to BOM To be considered for this position, you will have: 5 years stores/warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Procurement exposure Forklift certification RF scanning experience would be preferable Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
