The Position We are looking for an experienced Mobile Camp Manager for this exciting opportunity in our remote business, we have positions in Brisbane and Adelaide. Your passion for exceptional customer service, genuine commitment to safety and strong people management skills are essential for you to succeed in this role. This is Fly in fly role out working a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster. Based in our McMahons Point office you'll be reporting into the portfolio Category Manager, be passionate about the Procurement process and eager to take the next step in your career by joining the world leader in catering and support services. This role requires an autonomous self-starter who can work in a variety of environments and maintain and develop successful relationships with a geographically diverse range of stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include: Support the CM in building sourcing strategies that enable Compass to optimise its buying power across all markets Build and support a portfolio of categories, specifically Indirect food & beverage hospitality related products and/or services Conduct industry analysis supporting business stakeholders with a commercial understanding of the market place Assist CM in the provision of proactive insights with a view to development of long term potential sourcing strategies Execute best sourcing procurement process Support the delivery of a range of products/services maximising business profitability and service needs considering both lifecycle and associated costs Demonstrate a clear understanding of the relationship between all pricing levels versus market to make business pricing recommendations Your success in this role will stem from: Tertiary education is highly desirable, with a Procurement & Supply Chain focus: CIPS, IFPSM or AAPCM qualification an added advantage Knowledge and understanding of key indirect categories such as: Transport & Logistics, Distribution, Fleet, Subcontracting, Outsourcing (FM & Soft Services), Textiles is an advantage Excellent organisational skills Intermediate/excellent level of MS Office including Advanced Excel Skills Great interpersonal skills – ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with business stakeholders Procurement knowledge gained through category assistant or buying experience Why work at Compass Group?
