Category Manager Citrus & Tropicals Part-time or other flexible options will be considered. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join our Buying teams! What we are looking for: Working in a fast paced environment the role is responsible for delivering a range that is better for customers, simpler to execute and enhances our customer's’ perceptions of our value, quality and range whilst delivering to target on sales growth, profitability and market share. In addition, the Category Manager manages all aspects of each category within the larger category in relation to Product, Price, Promotions, Placement. You will Lead a team within a state based structure and manage the replenishment as part of a team function whilst developing a growth category. What you’ll do: Manage the day to day operation of the category including supply and store range across all WOW systems Develop and implement the strategy with respects to Sell price, GP, Range, NPD of new lines, New concepts including an understanding of full end to end scope of produce procurement Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, from within the Produce Team (State Buyers & Produce Operations Managers) Maintain strong relationships with our operations partners (State OPS senior management from GM to Group Manager & our Store teams) Manage relationships with external stakeholders, from industries (Mangoes & Citrus) Accountable for the Fiscal performance of category including forecasting, budgets and overall performance to KPI's and expectations Who you are? Commercial acumen to manage an event P&L as well as standard range. Excellent Stakeholder Management skills including Supplier management capability. Strong communication skills. Can manage promotional planning and PDQs. Deliver on trend ranges to our customers needs.
