Description Maintenance Coordinator | Permanent YOUR OPPORTUNITY Collaboration, enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn is encouraged We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our Engineering team in the Gympie Factory (two hours drive north of Brisbane). Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be primarily responsible for the planning and scheduling of all Maintenance (scheduled and preventative), Technical Stores supervision and be the site SAP & AMM Coordinator. Demonstrated influencing skills are essential, together with a can do attitude. You will need to be a strong relationship builder in order to provide professional and technical support to production and members of the Engineering team to ensure optimum manufacturing efficiencies are maintained with minimal equipment downtime. Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work & lead effectively in multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining a high work level of work ethic; as well as, being able to work autonomously and being passionate about driving our company’s performance KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and coordinate preventive maintenance plans in conjunction with the Maintenance Engineer, Engineering Team members, Production Planner and the Operations team. Participate in Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) tasks such as, Breakdown Analysis (BDA), Go-See-Think-Do (GSTD) problem solving, DMAIC’s and White Belt Projects. Compile, analyse and provide input for adjustments in regards to key performance indicators. Keeps Maintenance Engineer informed of any difficulties that arise in meeting the requested priorities. WE ARE LOOKING FOR 4+ years’ experience in maintenance and shut-down planning in an manufacturing environment; or Mechanical Engineering graduate with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills. The ability to prioritise and manage multiple conflicting demands. Ensuring that maintenance is executed as planned in order to maintain safety and reliability of the plant. Focal point for manufacturing communications relating to maintenance/shutdown and workflow information, including tool box talks, plans and presentations. Provide input and leadership as required for problem solving and incident investigations. Support and promote the Permit to Work processes within level of accountability. Advanced software skills in Excel, Office, SAP & AMM; Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
