Please note, this role is referred to internally as a Forecasting and Planning Specialist. In this role you will: Identify and manage appropriate replenishment parameters across a wide variety or product types categories. Apply an understanding of the needs, wants and expectations of the customer to drive the replenishment merchandising strategy. Collaborate with Buyers, Assistant Buyers and Planners to create optimal demand forecasts that maximize results through replenishment and align with the merchandise strategy. Demonstrate an understanding of the merchant strategy, product expectations and order generation process to ensure order results align with the buyer's expected outcomes. Proactively seek opportunities to drive replenishment and improve item performance. Perform analysis and influence decision-making to improve replenishment sales and inventory results that complement the total assortment. Demonstrate proficiency in applicable systems, including replenishment, item planning, reporting and division-specific tools. We are looking for that little bit extra, so join us if you: Have demonstrated experience in retail merchandise Planning and Analysis, Inventory Management or equivalent required. Have previous experience working with retail forecasting tools and methods. Ideally candidates will have hands on Oracle merchandising foundation experience and/or Retail Demand Forecast (RDF) experience. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Statistics, Management Information Systems or related field. Possess strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in basic statistics. Have experience supporting a high sales volume category (high SKU count, heavy seasonality, high revenue ($20M+) preferred. Have a demonstrated ability to work alongside a range of key senior stakeholders in order to achieve business outcomes. Possess Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite.
