As a result of continued growth and future strategy plans, we have a newly created role to join our online category team to drive online presence and sales for the Apparel categories. This role will allow you to become a key contributor to further enhancing the experience we offer our online customers and will be responsible for the following; Set the overall strategic direction for your categories online sales and customer experience Define content and activity plan for your categories as well as analyse and report on insights and learnings Monitor and analyse category performance and user experience and use insights to continually improve decisions Oversee the brief, production, and maintenance all digital content for your category: home pages, landing pages and other content Work on key campaigns with internal stakeholders, including Online, UX/Design, Marketing and Merchandise teams Develop sound demand forecasts, based on historical data and business strategies and plans To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience; Formal qualifications in Marketing, Commerce or similar business-related degree Prior experience working as a buyer/category manager in retail, ecommerce or related field (those with experience in the apparel category will be considered highly favourable) Experience working within an early-stage/low-maturity environment focussed on continuous improvement and growth Results-oriented and outcome-focused: accustomed to delivering against hard commercial targets/metrics demonstrated through your solid financial, numerical and analytical skills Experience working within a digital/ecommerce environment Strong understanding of UX principles as well as comfortable using web analytics tools (eg Google Analytics) to derive customer insights Familiar with online conversion optimisation principles Exceptional collaboration, influencing and communication skills (written/verbal) Ability to interpret and act on market trends You will benefit from joining an amazing business and a dynamic team who are all committed to the success of Kmart and providing our customers with a great shopping experience.
