One of Australia’s leading pork producers has an exciting opportunity for recently graduated students from Animal Science, Ag Science or Farm management related studies to join their vertically integrated operation in a newly developed graduate program. With multiple sites located throughout Western Victoria, this an opportunity to be mentored through their business, as you rotate through each site to understand how their operation is run at various points in their production cycle. Ideally you will be a recent graduate, or soon to be graduate from a relevant course, and must have an interest in Animal Heath and Nutrition, and be looking to develop a career in the livestock industry. Due to the growing nature of this business, you will be exposed to a 365 day a year operation, gaining an understanding of various touch points in the production cycle (farrowing/breeding/grow out). You will be looking for a hands on, practical role with leadership opportunities and a clear career path into management that will quickly establish you in the industry. You will bring with you a strong work ethic, strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and ideally have an established understanding of intensive animal production systems and protocols. This role will include the occasional weekend work, and not be your standard 9am-5pm role. You will be joining one of Australia’s leading vertically integrated businesses as they continue to grow in the domestic market and be exposed to their wider business supply chain, giving you a unique insight into their business. If you wish to further discuss this opportunity, please apply now, or give Ryan Hoiberg or Nigel Crawley a call on 1300 380 701 to further discuss.
