About the opportunity Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for leading and managing the procurement function. This is a strategic and hands-on role allowing you to become the SME across all the procurement categories. Duties Manage and lead a team within procurement. Manage indirect and direct categories. Hands-on involvement in all processes within procurement. Contracts and tenders management. Supplier and vendor management. Stakeholder management. Reporting and governance. Risk management. Drive cost savings and improve on processes. Skills and Experience Extensive experience in Procurement Management is preferred. Experience working within the medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry is essential. Experienced in managing a team. Strong knowledge of procurement systems, processes, policies and procedures. Strategic with the ability to influence, communicate and negotiate. Strong vendor and stakeholder management. Experienced in contracts and tender management. Excellent communication skills. Strong problem solving and decision making. Hands-on and involved in the day to day functions within procurement.
