We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Procurement Professional for a 12-month contract to support the Procurement Team through the efficient acquisition of packaging materials and services. Reporting to the Category Manager you will directly engage in category analysis, tender preparation and tender analysis critical to the delivery of the Asia Pacific Procurement Strategy. Procurement of packaging materials in line with Campbell Arnott's business needs. Provide support to the NPD category by assisting and managing nominated NPD projects across the cross functional team Building relationships and partnerships with stakeholder departments Provide input into overall category strategy and develop strategies for sub-categories. Manage acquisition process (sourcing, developing, and negotiating) ensuring competitiveness, limiting risk, and driving Enabler and Total Procurement Value (TPV) targets. Drive supplier relationship management program including partnership workshops, supplier scorecards Driving Continuous improvement and supplier development Collect, analyse and monitor category specific information on spend, supplier performance, user adoption and compliance, standards and specifications, industry benchmarks. Perform analysis, build (cost) models, and benchmark drawing relevant conclusions to drive productivity. Execute day to day program management for sourcing and supply initiatives. Stay abreast of leading edge purchasing techniques and champion the use of formal category management techniques and processes within team. Continuously improve upon personal skills – adopting continuous learning and skill development and seeking feedback. A little about you: 3+ year’s experience within a procurement role Analytical experience Ability to build relationships and partner with internal and external stakeholders Experience using SAP (would be advantageous) Experience managing projects from end to end with the ability to meet deadlines Technical background in Packaging (desirable) Above all we are looking for someone with a great analytical & problem solving mindset, who can own projects with a sense of urgency and drive.
