About the role Work within a State Government Department, initially for 3 months possible to extend for the right candidate. Between $45-$50ph + super Nedlands location MUST have Government experience, and any with a Facilities/Trade experience would be beneficial. Core duties and responsibilities Provides general clerical and administrative support to the Procurement Branch Coordinates and actions internal and external procurement enquiries made to the Procurement Branch Assists with the collection of procurement information to assist with management reporting Procures and arranges payment of office supplies and consumables Checks the compliance of quotation requests, initiates the Quotes file, and updates the Quotes register Contributes to continuous improvement with administrative processes across the Branch by identifyingand recommending improvements Essential Work Related Requirements Experience providing customer focussed administrative support within a Procurement, Contracts orsimilar environment Well developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise withstaff at various levels Well developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills in analysing and resolvingadministrative problems and issues Sound organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work with minimal supervision, use initiative and balance competing priorities MUST have Government experience, and any with a Facilities/Trade experience would be beneficial.
