You will be actively involved in the day to day operations of the warehouse, including management of staff. Production Manager
The Production Manager will lead a multi-functional team in maximising the performance of the Chlor-Alkali plant whilst ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies and regulations. Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Chlor Alkali, your will supervise a Plant Superintendent and a Technical Supervisor, whilst maintaining strong relationships with the Sales and Transport business units. Client Details Coogee is Australia’s second largest manufacturer of chlor-alkali products with three chlor-alkali facilities across Australia – two in the south west of Western Australia and one in Lytton, Queensland. This business was initially established to service the emerging local titanium dioxide pigment industry as dedicated suppliers of bulk chlorine and caustic soda feedstock. In 2015 Coogee undertook a significant expansion of the Lytton facility including a new state of the art cell room that significantly increased capacity. As well as the increased capacity it also provided greater flexibility within the operation. Coogee has the only chlor alkali plant in Queensland and the site is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Coogee QCA also operate an extensive network of storage and distribution centres supporting our customers in regional Queensland and New South Wales. Description The primary functions of the Production Manager QCA are: Lead a strong EHS culture, driving safety and team ownership in a manufacturing environment. Ensure that all activities within responsibilities are carried out safely and in accordance with established policy, procedure and protocol. Maintain environmental compliance while continually pursuing waste minimisation. Effective utilisation of plant assets. Focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs. Prepare and issue manufacturing plans to meet the commercial demand. Prepare OPEX and CAPEX budgets including the management of production expenditure. Management of the production function through the provision of effective leadership, direction and delegation of responsibilities to the Production Team. Training of staff to ensure competence in their roles alongside the development, coaching and mentoring of your Production Team. Profile What the successful candidate should possess: Degree qualifications in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry. Previous experience managing people and the ability to develop teams. Experience within a Chemicals and/or Hydrocarbon industry. Experience within major hazards / high risk environments. Proven experience managing a continuous production process. Previous experience with financial systems and managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets. Our busy client based in Port of Brisbane is currently looking for keen, fit and enthusiastic container unloaders to join their warehouse team. We are looking for reliable candidates who are able to work ongoing in an on-call casual role. You must be willing to work in a team environment and have the drive, initiative and can do attitude to get in and get the job done. Good communication skills, both written and verbal and high attention to detail is necessary for this role. About the role: Predominately you will be container unloading with weights varying from 5kgs to heavier items requiring a team lift. The items are all boxed and will need palatalising and some can be bulky in size. You must be physically fit to cope with the manual nature of this role. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, We are looking for someone with the following: Experience in a warehouse environment Able to safely wrap and stack pallets in a timely manner Physically fit and healthy (Manual repetitive lifting is required) Capable of lifting up to 20kgs Follow WHS and maintain safe work practices License and reliable transport (Sites are not accessible via public transport) PPE (Steel caps & high VIS shirt) Forklift license an advantage but not necessary This is a very physically demanding position and repetitive lifting and manual handling will be the main part of your role. Your new role Reporting to the Logistics Manager & Superintendent, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with scheduling and managing logistics and handling from the mine site to port. Key responsibilities will include: Monitoring CHPP coal handling practices and segregation to ensure coal quality Assist with management of logistic contracts Coal handling from the CHPP to stockpiling area Coal haulage from the mine to the train load out Train and Ship loading and schedules Assist with logistic forecasting What you'll need to succeed To be successful it is essential that you have demonstrated experience in a bulk commodity logistics role, ideally within coal mining. IT Contract Specialist
Job Purpose: As the IT Contract Specialist you will be responsible to ensure IT services are supported by appropriate service agreements.
