We are now looking for a Head of Sourcing for Country Unit (CU) Australia and NZ (ANZA). Your role will make Ericsson and our Customers successful by actively contributing towards securing short and long-term profitable business. In this role you will be primarily engaged with the CU at the earliest opportunity to help the CU make the best 3PP business decision possible given the details of the opportunity/project. You will act as a central focal point of Sourcing for the CU staff in finding and selecting the best 3PP to meet business requirements. You will be instrumental in bringing in other appropriate groups in Sourcing or other organizations such as Legal and Risk Management in making the selections. In addition, you may provide analysis of companies, industries, or initial proposals; how to reduce risk; recommend the appropriate contractual document; find alternative suppliers; investigate options from other CU; support efforts to increase margins and find ways to overcome obstacles. About You: You strive to understand short, mid and long-term business plans, and understand the spend driven by the business to help Category Managers develop the Sourcing Strategy/Plan to accomplish the work in the best, quickest and most effective way possible. You proactively participate in driving efficient planning of Sourcing needs, reducing costs while driving up margins for the partnering business entity.
