Initial 5 months contract Central CBD Location Circa $79 per hour Eden Ritchie is currently searching for an experienced ICT Purchasing Officer to work within a State Government department for an initial 5-month contract with possible extension Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be required to process requests for purchasing hardware and software across the department. The purchasing process is end-to-end and includes obtaining appropriate approvals, seeking quotes, purchasing, asset creation, invoice payment and stock management. As the Purchasing Officer you will : Provide telephone and email assistance to staff and direct requests appropriately. Management of purchasing requests through ServiceNow including obtaining quotes, obtaining appropriate approvals, purchasing, goods receipting and filing. Invoice receipting and processing using the SAP system. Maintain several databases for managing hardware and software assets and invoices. Demonstrated experience in the following: Demonstrated customer service skills. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to use a range of computer software - outlook, Excel, SAP, ServiceNow or ability to acquire these skills quickly. High level computer and keyboard skills. Demonstrated ability to follow standard business processes to meet timeframes and ensure team outcomes are achieved. Attention to detail.
