We are a well-respected and highly reputable company who are currently expanding and growing within the engineering market. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join their business.
All aspects of procurement and supplier management as defined within the organisation's Business Management System.
Act as a liaison between customers, suppliers and other departments to ensure all interested parties requirements are met.
Hands on activities associated with the receipt and despatch of goods.
Hands on management of inventory control including related tasks
Raising of purchase orders for local and international goods.
Quick learner with good communication skills
The Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of project procurement within an project mining industry or similar a must
Over 2 years experience in Procurement preferred
Experience within the project mining preferred
Good computer skills with knowledge of SAP preferred
Problem solving, self motivation, quick learner
