Our client is currently looking for an experienced stores person with forklift ticket for an ongoing role based in the south west of Adelaide.
Role Responsibilities consist of: 1. Operation of machinery and tasks as required and meeting quality, time and material usage standards. 2. Cooperate and move around within the team to achieve the best possible outcome for the warehouse as a whole 3. Processing of data in relevant systems. 4. Maintain the 5S program. 5. Participate in regular training. Share experiences and cross-train other team members 6. Participate in regular operations meetings and contribute in a productive manner. 7. As required, actively contribute to the continuous improvement, eliminating waste and development of the business. 8. Minimise waste where possible and work to continually minimise the impact of the company on the environment. 9. Undertake all tasks in a safe manner as required by the companies OH&S policy, and having reasonable regard to the personal safety of all employees and visitors to the site. 10. Any other duty as directed by the Supply Chain Manager, Operations Manager or other management staff.
Competencies Required: 1. Forklift licence 2. Experience in a stores / warehouse environment 3. Awareness of OH&S issues 4. Awareness of environmental impacts
