Area Logistics Officer

The Logistics Officer assists in the daily operation of the Parklea Correctional Centre (PCC) warehouse spaces and performs tasks as prescribed by the Logistics Manager. The role: The Logistics Officer has day-to-day responsibilities for warehouse operations, logistics and stock management. The Logistics Officer brings the ability to perform physical tasks to a high standard and work as an effective team member. An understanding of, and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety requirements within a warehouse environment is critical to this role. Key duties: Receive and distribute supplies delivered to the warehouse and accommodation areas Open boxes, crates and other containers Scan and process supplies Sort and place stock Move stock using forklift Skills required: The candidate is required to display sound judgement, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and uphold MTC-Broadspectrum's Code Of Conduct Must be able to obtain clearance from NSW Police and Correctional Services NSW Meet the physical requirement of the role, by passing a medical including drug and alcohol tests. Production Supervisor
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will oversee the people, process, quality and safety of the manufacturing facility and bring technical and analytical expertise combined with strong organisational skills and an engaging approach to team development to drive improvement of KPI's. Client Details Our client is a multinational organisation who manufacture various products that are used for electric power distribution and telecommunications. Description As the Production Supervisor, you are required but not limited to: Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures are followed Assist in planning and managing production so that quality, productivity, and safety are to the highest standards Develop and ensure that production delivery schedules are maintained and met consistently Assist in Capital Project Management alongside the Projects Team Manage a labour team of up to 50 people and be involved in their training and development Profile To be considered for this role, you must have: A Tertiary Degree in and Engineering or Science related discipline Over 3 years' of experienced in a manufacturing supervisory/management role Previous experience or knowledge of cables manufacturing is preferred Experiencing in managing a Blue Collar workforce ranging from 10-50 people Prior experience with WHS systems Proven experience with Quality Assurance systems and Continuous Improvement Methodologies A drive and focus on people management and development Experience with resource planning and managing KPI's Job Offer Convenient location in Western Sydney near public transport Excellent career progression opportunities Opportunity to work for a global market leader To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
